Saudi Arabia Confirms Multinational Coalition Strikes Against Houthi Forces in Yemen
Svmuu News: Major General Turki al-Maliki, the official spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition, stated today (July 25) that the coalition’s military operations are targeting Houthi military sites linked to threats against shipping in the Red Sea. Major General Maliki noted that the port of Hodeidah in Yemen has not been attacked, and that all Yemeni ports—including Hodeidah, Ras Isa, and Salif—are open to maritime traffic and operating normally, receiving merchant ships carrying food, goods, fuel, and construction materials. Flights to Yemeni airports are also operating normally. The Houthi rebels continue to refuse to allow flights to depart from Sana’a International Airport and persist in besieging the Yemeni people. Major General Maliki reiterated that the coalition command will continue to take all necessary operational measures to protect its vessels and safeguard the interests and national assets of Saudi Arabia. He emphasized that if the Houthi rebels continue their hostile actions, the coalition will respond resolutely and directly. (CCTV International News)
