CLARITY has added new provisions for self-custodied tokens to prevent them from being classified as lost assets due to inactivity on the blockchain.
Svmuu News: Galaxy’s Head of Research posted on X, stating that many people have overlooked an important addition to CLARITY: self-custodial tokens are protected from being deemed “lost” under unclaimed property laws due to on-chain inactivity or dormancy, and federal law will take precedence over state law. He also noted that Noah Doe would not be pleased to see this.
