Svmuu News Ethereum The staking protocol Lido announced on X that today’s stETH Rebase was completed as expected, and the ETH yields omitted yesterday due to a calculation error have been credited. The corresponding annualized yield (APR) is approximately 2.29%.Additionally, the protocol’s oracle has been updated and audited; the new version will improve reporting speed and help identify the cause more quickly should similar issues arise in the future.
Regarding yesterday’s yield calculation anomaly, Lido stated that contributors are currently conducting a root cause analysis and will publish further investigation details on the official forum and social media platforms. User funds were never at risk throughout the incident. Preliminary findings suggest the issue may have stemmed from a specific edge case:A validator in a “pending deposit” status was omitted from yesterday’s yield report, resulting in a portion of staking rewards not being included in the calculation.
Lido stated that a comprehensive post-mortem report will be released in the coming days to further explain the cause of the issue, the corrective measures taken, and plans for future improvements.
