Morgan Stanley Raises Its Forecast for the July ISM Manufacturing PMI to 53.8
Morgan Stanley raised its forecast for the July ISM Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) from 53.3 to 53.8. The bank noted that the upward revision was driven by stronger factory activity in Texas, increased production, and robust new orders. Morgan Stanley also stated that longer delivery times and higher inventories indicate strong demand rather than supply chain disruptions, while price pressures have eased despite rising energy costs.
