Goldman Sachs Warns of Rising Macro Risks, Raises US & European Default Forecasts
Goldman Sachs has warned that rising oil volatility is shifting investor focus from company earnings to broader macro risks, including inflation and higher interest rates. The bank expects the Federal Reserve to hold interest rates this week but noted that markets are pricing in a more hawkish outlook. Goldman also raised its U.S. and European default forecasts while remaining underweight credit.
