Spain's Banco Sabadell announced a new organisational structure set to take effect on September 1, aiming to streamline operations and accelerate its transformation program. The restructuring includes expanding its focus on artificial intelligence (AI) with a new corporate transformation & AI unit and enhanced AI capabilities within its operations & technology division. Additionally, the bank will centralise various functions, such as people, legal, financial planning, organisation, technology, and operations, to improve decision-making agility.
