Binance co-founder Changpeng 'CZ' Zhao advocated for a 'crypto passport' system in Asia during the ASEAN Tech Summit Manila 2026. This system would allow crypto companies licensed in one Asian nation to simplify regulatory approvals and operate across the region, aiming to reduce duplicate filings and market-entry costs. To date, no Asian regulator or governance body has announced such a product.
