Cathie Wood's Ark Investment Management has recently purchased 34,080 shares of Meta Platforms, valued at approximately $18.4 million. Meta, one of the "Magnificent Seven" mega-tech stocks, has seen its share price decline by 17% over the past 52 weeks and over 9% in 2026. Ark Invest funds are broadly focused on disruptive technologies, including artificial intelligence. Meta is projected to spend about $135 billion on AI infrastructure this year and is scheduled to announce its second-quarter financial results on Wednesday, July 29.
