Moderna Reports Second-Quarter Financial Results, with Revenue Exceeding Expectations and Profits for the Sixth Consecutive Quarter
Biotechnology company Moderna released its second-quarter 2026 financial results on July 31, reporting revenue of $389 million, exceeding the market’s consensus estimate of $236.36 million. This marks the company’s sixth consecutive quarter of profitability. In addition, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is expected to make a decision on August 5 regarding the approval of its seasonal flu vaccine, mRNA-1010. If approved, this will become Moderna’s fifth commercial product and will help the company rebuild its respiratory product line ahead of the 2026–2027 flu season.
