Newly released documentary footage shows former U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham claiming he persuaded then-President Donald Trump to join Israel in attacking Iran. Graham, who died on July 11, expressed that he "almost cried" with joy when the conflict began, following U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran on February 28 that killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and started the war. The footage also reveals Graham offering to lobby Trump on behalf of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to attack Lebanon.
