U.S. Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren has expressed concern over a Pentagon program aimed at recruiting Wall Street professionals with high salaries. The program, known as “Business Operators for National Defense” (BOND), aims to bring private-sector talent into the Department of Defense’s procurement process and offers annual salaries of more than $400,000. Warren fears this could lead to “serious conflicts of interest and revolving-door issues.”
