AI content detection startup Pangram raises $9 million and unveils a new generation of AI text and image detection models
AI content detection startup Pangram announced it has raised $9 million in funding, with Menlo Ventures leading the round, to scale up its AI detection software. At the same time, the company also unveiled Pangram 4, its next-generation AI text detection model, and released a research preview of its AI image detection model. Pangram stated that Pangram 4 achieves over 99% accuracy in detecting AI-assisted writing and human-machine hybrid content, and can more effectively identify AI “humanization” techniques. The AI image detection model is currently in a research preview phase and is scheduled for wider release in the coming weeks.
