Starbucks Raises Full-Year Profit and Sales Forecasts; Stock Price Jumps in After-Hours Trading
Starbucks raised its full-year earnings and sales outlook for fiscal 2026 after reporting its fourth consecutive quarter of same-store sales growth. The company now expects adjusted earnings per share of $2.55 to $2.65, up from its previous guidance of $2.25 to $2.45, and anticipates global same-store sales growth of nearly 6%. Following the announcement, Starbucks’ stock rose more than 7% in after-hours trading.
