Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said during the company’s second-quarter earnings call that Meta sees “huge opportunities” in the enterprise AI space, which will extend beyond AI agents to include APIs, the sale of computing power, and the external provision of internal software tools. He noted that Meta launched AI agents for businesses in June, but the company’s enterprise AI ambitions are much broader, aiming to provide enterprise customers with more comprehensive services and thereby open up new revenue streams beyond advertising and subscriptions.
