Of this total, long positions accounted for $186 million in liquidations, while short positions accounted for $100 million, indicating significant volatility in both directions.Within 12 hours before and after the announcement of the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision, liquidations totaled $188 million. Additionally, equity derivatives on crypto derivatives platforms saw liquidations of approximately $43 million, primarily concentrated in long positions on semiconductor-related assets such as Micron, SK Hynix, and SanDisk.
