Amnesty International: India's arms sales to Israel risk complicity in Gaza genocide
Amnesty International reported that India continues to supply arms to Israel, despite a "substantial risk" of these weapons being used in the "ongoing genocide against Palestinians" in Gaza. The human rights group's report, shared with Al Jazeera, documented 2,596 shipments of weapons, ammunition, parts, and components from India to Israel since October 7, 2023, supporting Israel's military operations. Amnesty International's Secretary-General Agnes Callamard stated that India has deepened its defense partnership with Israel and failed to regulate arms exports in line with international law.
