BMW has selected Qualcomm as the primary chip supplier for its next-generation platform
BMW Group has signed a long-term agreement with Qualcomm Technologies, under which Qualcomm will supply the primary computing chips for BMW’s digital cockpits, advanced driver-assistance systems, and autonomous driving systems over the next decade. Under this agreement, Qualcomm becomes the core hardware partner for BMW’s upcoming software-defined vehicles, supplying components from its Snapdragon Digital Chassis portfolio, including high-performance Snapdragon Elite automotive system-on-chip (SoC) solutions and dedicated AI accelerators.
