Julian McManus, a portfolio manager at Janus Henderson Investors, said that as concerns grow over excessive concentration in U.S. “Magnificent Seven” tech stocks, investors are seeking to diversify their portfolios by shifting toward overseas markets. He noted that year-to-date, the MSCI World (ex-U.S.) Index has risen by more than 8%, outperforming the S&P 500 Index’s 6.8% gain. McManus is bullish on European banks, Japanese financial stocks, select South Korean and Chinese companies, as well as defense and healthcare stocks, specifically mentioning Samsung Electronics, Tencent, and CATL.
