Universal Music Group shares hit record low; Roblox slumps after disappointing Q2 results
Universal Music Group (UMG NA) shares fell to their lowest level since listing after the company reported subscription revenue growth of 16.6% in constant currency, including the impact of its purchase of Downtown Music Holdings, which was below analysts' expectations of 19.2%. Separately, Roblox (RBLX) shares declined following its second-quarter results, which missed key metrics for users and hours engaged, and provided a weaker-than-expected forecast for both bookings and revenue. Meanwhile, Reddit (RDDT) shares moved after projecting current quarter revenue that beat Wall Street estimates, but fell as the social media company did not announce any new data licensing agreements.
