According to reports, as of July 29, the Schwab U.S. Dividend ETF (SCHD) had delivered a total return of 26% in 2026, significantly outperforming the S&P 500 Index. The ETF currently has $105 billion in assets under management, an expense ratio of 0.06%, and a dividend yield of 3.3% over the past 12 months. SCHD tracks the Dow Jones U.S. Dividend 100 Index, whose constituents must have paid dividends for at least 10 consecutive years and are screened based on factors such as cash flow-to-debt ratio, return on equity, dividend yield, and five-year dividend growth rate. The ETF’s top two sector holdings are healthcare and consumer staples, which together account for 41% of the portfolio.
