AI startup Smallest.ai has secured $13 million in a Series A funding round, led by Seligman Ventures with participation from Sierra Ventures and 3one4 Capital. This latest investment boosts the company's total funding to over $21 million.

The startup aims to develop voice models designed to enable AI phone calls to pass the Turing test, making AI agents indistinguishable from humans in conversation. Smallest.ai focuses on building small, specialized voice models that mimic human information processing by listening, thinking, and speaking simultaneously, aiming for virtually zero response lag. The company's existing customers include RingCentral and Truecaller.
