An analysis by Yahoo Finance indicates that if the cryptocurrency market enters a new bull cycle, by 2030, an investment of $10,000 split evenly between Bitcoin (BTC) and XRP could be worth more than the same amount invested in the S&P 500 over the same period.The analysis suggests that if Bitcoin and XRP can return to their 2025 highs (US$126,000 and US$3.65, respectively), a $10,000 investment made today could grow to approximately $26,600 by 2030,which is about 70% higher than the S&P 500’s performance under the most optimistic forecast (approximately $15,300).

The analysis also notes that historical data shows the S&P 500 has slightly outperformed a portfolio of Bitcoin and XRP since August 2021. Goldman Sachs The S&P 500 is projected to have an annualized return of 6.5% over the next decade, while Bank of America forecasts a return of 5%. The analysis emphasizes that cryptocurrency investments offer higher potential returns but also carry greater risks, and their performance is highly dependent on whether the market enters the next bull cycle.
