Analysis suggests that NuScale Power (NYSE: SMR) stock price could triple by 2030. This forecast is primarily based on the company's potential to sign a 6-gigawatt power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) by the end of 2026, as well as Bank of America analysts' optimistic outlook on the nuclear energy market. Bank of America projects that global nuclear power generation capacity will triple by 2050, with investments reaching $3 trillion over the next 25 years. If this PPA is successfully signed, this project alone is expected to generate over $1 billion in revenue for NuScale Power by 2030. Although NuScale Power is the only company to receive regulatory approval to build small modular reactor (SMR) systems, market skepticism about its execution capabilities persists due to previous project cancellations caused by rising costs.
