Tether expands its tokenization business to Saudi Arabia, focusing on institutional real estate assets
Stablecoin issuer Tether plans to grow its real-world asset tokenization offerings by bringing institutional-grade real estate assets on-chain in Saudi Arabia. The company's "Hadron" platform will provide the technology for issuing and managing these tokenized assets for institutional investors. Tether states that this operating model could later expand beyond real estate to other sectors like energy, infrastructure, and finance. This move aligns with Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" economic strategy to diversify its economy and deploy blockchain technologies across various sectors.
