Market Analysis: Investors injected over $11 billion into semiconductor ETFs last week after AI hedge fund Bitcoin triggered a chip stock pullback, Bitcoin ETFs saw $500 million in net inflows
Market analysis indicates that despite the AI hedge fund Situational Awareness's liquidation, which caused the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index to drop 29% from its June high, investors viewed it as a buying signal, injecting over $11 billion into semiconductor-related ETFs last week. During the same period, high-yield bond funds saw a net inflow of $4 billion, the highest weekly total in two years, and Bitcoin ETFs also recorded a net inflow of $500 million. Bank of America's Bull & Bear Indicator has risen to its highest level since 2021, signaling a complete shift to optimistic market sentiment.
