Analysis indicates that SK Hynix ranked first in HBM market share in Q1 2026 with 56.4%, and its Q2 revenue reached $55 billion.
An analysis report indicates that South Korean chip giant SK Hynix holds a leading position in the artificial intelligence (AI) memory market. According to IDC market data, SK Hynix ranked first in the high-bandwidth memory (HBM) market share in Q1 2026 with 56.4%, and second in both DRAM and NAND flash revenue market shares. The company's Q2 financial report showed revenue reaching 79.3 trillion Korean Won (approximately 55 billion USD) and operating profit of 60.54 trillion Korean Won, with a high-profit margin of 76%. Despite strong performance, SK Hynix's stock price experienced a sell-off due to failing to meet high market expectations, but the analysis suggests this presents a buying opportunity for investors.
