Emerging-market stocks and currencies gain, with MSCI EM equities up 0.5% and on track for nearly 3% weekly rise, as easing US inflation curbs Fed rate hike worries.
MSCI’s gauge for developing world equities traded 0.5% higher on Friday, on track for a weekly gain of close to 3%, the biggest such advance since June. A similar index tracking emerging-market currency returns was 0.2% higher on the day, while a Bloomberg dollar gauge edged lower.
