A UN human rights report states that Israel's "Iron Wall Operation" in the West Bank may constitute crimes of "ethnic cleansing" and "forced displacement," having displaced over 33,000 Palestinians.
The UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR) released a report on Friday stating that Israel's "Iron Wall Operation" in the West Bank from January to February 2025 resulted in the deaths of 102 Palestinians and displaced over 33,000 residents in the Jenin, Nur Shams, and Tulkarem refugee camps. The report emphasized that such large-scale, prolonged, and systematic displacement of the Palestinian population, without military necessity, could constitute a crime against humanity.
