Quanex Building Products reported Q3 fiscal 2026 sales of $501.8 million, up 1.3% year-over-year, with adjusted EPS increasing to $0.79 from $0.69. The company returned to profitability with a net income of $26.5 million, compared to a net loss of $276 million in the prior year (largely due to a goodwill impairment). Adjusted EBITDA reached $72.7 million. Management expects modest Q4 revenue growth of 2%-3% and adjusted EBITDA margin expansion of 50-75 basis points, despite an uneven housing market and ongoing cost pressures. Quanex also repaid $42.25 million of debt during the quarter, reducing its leverage ratio to 2.8 times.
