Robotics data startup XDOF is in talks for a Series B funding round at a valuation of approximately $1.2 billion, just three months after emerging from stealth mode.
XDOF, co-founded in 2024 by UC Berkeley researchers Philipp Wu and Fred Shentu, aims to collect real-world teleoperation data for general-purpose robot training. The company's annualized revenue has approached $50 million, and its rapid growth has prompted venture capitalists to proactively approach it for a new funding round. This round is led by 8VC, just months after its $70 million Series A funding.
