Fitch Removes Qatar from Negative Watch List, Maintains AA Sovereign Rating
Fitch Ratings announced on Friday it has removed Qatar from "Rating Watch Negative" and affirmed its sovereign rating at AA. The agency cited reduced risks to Qatar's liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities since March, but maintained a negative outlook due to ongoing risks to gas exports through the blockaded Strait of Hormuz.
