NVIDIA's Vera Rubin GPU Delivers 4,000 TFLOPS, Widening Lead as Huawei's Top Chip (Ascend 910C) Delivers Less Than Half of NVIDIA's 3-Year-Old H200; Q2 Revenue Jumps 105.85%
NVIDIA's latest Vera Rubin GPU is in full production, offering 4,000 TFLOPS of FP16 compute performance. This significantly outpaces Huawei's best AI chip, the Ascend 910C, which delivers approximately 780 TFLOPS, less than half of NVIDIA's H200 (1,700 TFLOPS) unveiled nearly three years ago. The company reported Q2 FY27 revenue of $96.22 billion, up 105.85% year over year, with Data Center revenue reaching $89.02 billion (+117%). Management guided Q3 revenue to $108.0 billion ±2%. NVIDIA's trailing P/E ratio is 46, compared to AMD's 180, and its Q2 Data Center segment is more than thirteen times larger than AMD's. Intel posted a Q2 FY26 GAAP net loss of $11.033 billion. NVIDIA's Q2 Hopper shipments to China accounted for less than 1% of total Data Center revenue, and the Q3 guidance assumes zero Data Center compute revenue from China.
