Cao Cao Mobility, a Chinese ride-hailing platform, has launched its RoboX solution, planning to mass-produce the natively developed Robotaxi model, Eva Cab, by 2027. The company aims to deploy a cumulative total of 100,000 Robotaxis and 100,000 Robovans by 2030. As of the end of June 2026, Cao Cao has already deployed 140 second-generation Robotaxis.

The RoboX solution is designed to transform existing ride-hailing platforms into systems capable of managing both human-driven and autonomous, as well as passenger and cargo transportation capacities, to address the operational and commercialization challenges of L4 autonomous driving fleets. Zhao Chenhui, CTO of Cao Cao Mobility's RoboX business unit, stated that L4 single-vehicle intelligence has largely achieved continuous operational capability, and the next focus will be on fleet operations and commercialization.
