Matt Hougan, Chief Investment Officer at Bitwise Asset Management, stated that Bitcoin is on track to surpass $100,000 by the end of 2026 and could reach approximately $1.3 million by 2035. He believes that an increasingly favorable global macroeconomic environment for scarce digital assets, coupled with catalysts such as the U.S. government repurchasing Treasury bonds, will drive Bitcoin's price higher. Hougan also noted that institutional investors returning to the market after summer holidays and a reevaluation of traditional "60/40" investment portfolios will also generate demand for Bitcoin.
