Wallstreetcn learned from Contemporary Amperex Energy Service Technology Ltd. (CAES) on September 8 that CATL is accelerating the construction of high-speed battery swap stations, with the number of signed stations expected to exceed 1,000 by the end of this year. The company plans to cooperate with provincial transportation groups and highway platforms, where local platforms will be responsible for asset investment, and CAES will provide a standardized system. As of the end of June 2026, CATL had cumulatively built 2,000 urban battery swap stations.
