Oracle (ORCL) stock jumped 3.4% on Tuesday after three analysts raised price targets ahead of its upcoming fiscal Q1 2027 earnings report.
Oppenheimer, Mizuho, and Guggenheim analysts set price targets of $275, $320, and $400 respectively for Oracle, which currently trades below $165. All three analysts expect Oracle to outperform the market over the next 12 months, citing strong software demand and an additional gigawatt of AI capacity coming online. However, they also expressed concerns about Oracle's massive capital spending to build out AI capabilities, potential debt, and stock sales for fundraising. Guggenheim expects Oracle may need to raise up to $40 billion this year, double the amount already expected, with some coming from stock sales.
