Google announced a partnership with Nevoya and the Center for Green Market Activation to deploy 25 electric heavy-duty semi-trucks and associated charging infrastructure on an all-electric transportation route between Houston and Dallas, Texas. This project is the largest known Class 8 battery-electric zero-emission heavy-duty truck deployment in Texas to date, involving a total of 63 trucks, and is expected to reduce approximately 92,000 metric tons of CO2 equivalent emissions over the contract period.
