India's Securities and Exchange Board (SEBI) is intensifying its scrutiny of Wall Street traders, taking more aggressive action against prominent foreign institutions like JPMorgan Chase in its $5 trillion stock market. SEBI recently accused a Mauritian subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase of executing manipulative stock trades. Last year, SEBI also accused Jane Street of market manipulation, an accusation the US financial giant denied.
