Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong announced on Tuesday that ministerial salaries would be adjusted after 15 years, with his personal annual salary package increasing by 64% from S$2.2 million (approximately US$1.74 million) to S$3.6 million (approximately US$2.85 million), maintaining his position as one of the world's highest-paid leaders.

His annual salary will be more than four times that of the Swiss President and seven times that of the US President. Wong stated that he would donate the salary increase to charity for five years.
