Hong Kong-based Prudential, Manulife, and other insurance companies are deepening their collaboration with technology firms to launch cross-industry alliances in areas such as AI underwriting and healthcare. Prudential, for instance, has announced a partnership with Alibaba Cloud to introduce an AI underwriter, designed to assist financial advisors in making preliminary decisions based on client information such as financial status, medical history, and occupation.
