Crypto restaking platform Renzo Protocol has rebranded to Renzo Finance as it expands into onchain structured yield products. Its first product, Renzo Basis, is designed to automate a basis trade strategy by buying an asset in the spot market and taking an equal short position in perpetual futures, allowing users to earn yield from funding rates. Renzo aims to differentiate its product by being fully onchain, self-custodial, and customizable, unlike some competitors. Renzo also plans to expand to other DeFi venues and experiment with additional structured products like autocallables and growth notes.
