Italy's Saipem wins commissioning contract for Turkey's Osman Gazi FPSO
Italian offshore engineering contractor Saipem has been awarded a contract by GOE Petrol Sanayi for commissioning services for the Osman Gazi Floating Production Unit (FPU) at the Sakarya gas field in the Turkish Black Sea. The work is expected to last approximately 8 months, following Saipem's previous award in April 2026 for operational readiness and assurance support services for the same field. The Sakarya gas field, developed by Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO), is projected to meet 30% of Turkey's natural gas demand.
