Nebius Group (NASDAQ:NBIS), an AI cloud platform operator, saw its first Blackwell capacity auction clear 15% above the highest price the company had ever charged. Short-duration contracts are now being negotiated at $40 million to $50 million per megawatt, compared to $20 million to $25 million for mid-term deals. CEO Arkady Volozh stated the company could sell its entire 2027 capacity on these terms but is deliberately holding back for premium short-duration deals. NVIDIA's strategic equity investment and anchor contracts with Meta and Microsoft embed Nebius within the reference architecture for Blackwell and Vera Rubin deployments.
