NVIDIA announced at the IBC conference in Amsterdam that it is expanding the NVIDIA AI for Media suite to broadcast, sports, and streaming workflows to enhance real-time intelligent applications. This expansion includes:

Its Synthetic Video Detector (SVD) NIM microservice has achieved an accuracy of 99.3% for text-to-video content and 97.7% for image-to-video content. It has been integrated into video verification and compliance solutions from Dalet, TwelveLabs, and Wowza for real-time assessment of video authenticity.

Additionally, NVIDIA showcased 3D Body Pose technology, which estimates human joint positions and angles from single-camera video, supporting sports analysis, replay enhancement, and virtual production; Video Frame Generation (VFG) technology, which uses generative AI to increase video frame rates for smoother sports slow-motion replays; and Video Super Resolution (VSR) and TrueHDR technologies for real-time video super-resolution and high dynamic range conversion, which together enhance the streaming and transcoding experience for existing content libraries.
