Ahead of its September 18 annual meeting, a shareholder group controlling a 9.99% stake in SkyAI and fellow Solana treasury company Forward Industries are separately opposing the reelection of SkyAI's entire board. Forward Industries is also urging shareholders to vote against SkyAI's proposed 2026 equity incentive plan, which would authorize 5.145 million additional shares for stock-based compensation, representing roughly 7.2% additional dilution. Forward Industries, the largest Solana treasury company, had previously offered to acquire SkyAI in an all-stock deal worth $1.55 per share in June, which SkyAI's board unanimously rejected in July.
