Amazon adds cybersecurity veteran Kevin Mandia to its board of directors
Amazon announced that Kevin Mandia, founder and former CEO of cybersecurity company Mandiant, has joined its board of directors. Mandia, who sold Mandiant to Google for $5.4 billion in 2022 and left Google in 2024, is also a co-founder of venture capital firm Ballistic Ventures and recently launched an AI-powered network vulnerability startup Armadin. His appointment comes as companies increasingly face new cybersecurity threats tied to artificial intelligence.
