TotalEnergies to Bring New Angola Discovery Online in Just Three Months
TotalEnergies on Thursday announced its Acacia-5 discovery in Block 17, made in June 2026, is expected to achieve first oil in just three months by utilizing available capacity on the nearby Pazflor FPSO. This fast-track development is projected to increase Block 17's oil production by 6,000 barrels per day (bpd). The French supermajor also signed agreements to acquire a 40% operated interest in exploration Blocks 17/25 and 32/21 in the Lower Congo Basin.
