Tsakos Energy Navigation (NYSE:TEN) reported record second-quarter net income of $139.3 million ($4.40 per share) and first-half net income of $228 million ($7.12 per share) for 2026. The company cited stronger tanker markets, higher profit-sharing income, and continued demand for long-term vessel charters. Adjusted EBITDA for the first half increased 68% to $324 million, with time-charter-equivalent rates climbing 41% to $43,503 per vessel per day. TEN has approximately $3.5 billion in forward committed earnings, with 84% of its operating fleet covered by time-charter arrangements. Management is considering a higher regular dividend and potentially redeeming $120 million of high-coupon preferred shares.
