Separately, Comstock Resources, Inc. (CRK) has entered into a drilling venture with a Jerry Jones family partnership, which will fund approximately $450 million (80-85%) of the drilling and completion costs for 27 Western and Legacy Haynesville wells over 12 months. This venture allows Comstock to continue acreage development without equivalent near-term cash funding.
