NVIDIA announced that its full-stack open platform, encompassing AI training (DGX systems), simulation and validation (Omniverse and Cosmos), and in-vehicle computing (DRIVE Hyperion), is being adopted by every major robotaxi program operating at commercial scale today. The global robotaxi market, seen as physical AI's first commercial breakthrough, is projected to reach $400 billion by 2035 with over 6 million commercial vehicles. Key partners leveraging NVIDIA's technology include Uber, May Mobility, Bolt, Lyft, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Pony.ai, and Zoox. Uber plans to expand its NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion fleet to 28 cities by 2028 and is collaborating with NVIDIA to build a robotaxi AI data factory on NVIDIA Cosmos.
